New iMac 27" i7 - Impressions and Virtualization Question

this last weekend bit bullet, put pile of bens on counter, , walked out of apple store top of line imac 27" high end video adapter, 1tb drive , 8gb memory , wireless mouse , keyboard.

system rocks, quite, blazing fast , real joy use.

ask opinion(s) on virtualization software should use run quicken premier , 1 other financial package (fund manager) windows xp based....

use these 2 windows softwares once per day during weekdays.
need gain access internet updated stock , fund prices , print on networked printer (attached airport extreme on wireless lan). note no games or other applications demand specialized hardware support or demands.

(as background, true lack of financial software on mac platform criminal. quicken mac software cruel joke , ibank way strange me)

1 of criteria virtualization software package when not using windows applications, virtualization software not compromise imac system in terms of speed.

not want have dual boot invoke windows application(s) rather click on in dock or in apps folder.

appears parallels may fit these criteria? thoughts on other options should into?

parallels , vmware fusion seem one-upping each other in virtualization race. i've use parallels on 3 years , use want (quicken) other windows-only programs. works fine. fusion well. both have free trials.

can keep quicken data files in mac's file system can backed timemachine or other program, launch dock icon if want, , windows desktop remain invisible.

it's closest decent quicken mac, @ least not until intuit gets clue.

, agree other personal finance programs out there -- tried them , found every 1 lacking 1 way or another.
