Microsoft Entourage database utility won't work

i running microsoft office 2004 mac on macbook running os 10.6.2. having problem entourage database.

while entourage freeze while opening, open after restart. won't open @ all, comes message "entourage cannot access data. attempt fix problem, rebuild database." click ok , opens database utility.

here's weird part: after few seconds database utility opens , comes message saying need quit microsoft programs before can run. that. quit programs except utility. still comes message telling me quit microsoft programs. in other words, database utility won't run. do now???

i'm encountering same problem. besides entourage, other office apps won't open either.

run office 2008 on mac os x 10.6.4. i've tried reinstall office, remove microsoft user data folder documents-folder, type following line in terminal-app: /usr/bin/sudo /usr/sbin/chown -h -r root:admin "/applications/microsoft office 2008" "/library/automator" "/library/fonts/microsoft" "/library/application support/microsoft"

nothing worked...

solution problem??
