i wondering if ipad stores photos @ reduced rate photos within iphoto, iphone , if give option store them @ full quality , access photo files on other computers?
reason buying ipad backup source huge library of photos carry around , view (along other cool stuff ipad does!)
suspicion ipad not offer this, there other me find appealing?
when sync iphone or ipad via itunes, optimized copies of photos put on mobile devices. photos take space in iphoto, medium amount on ipad, , smallest amount on iphone.
first sync lot of photo's take long time (mine took hours 6000 photos). mileage vary photos take 50gb on iphoto, 10gb on ipad , 5gb on iphone.
of course size , quality reduced optimization. if want "original" quality photos, try flicker subscription (about $30 year) , paid subscription offers unlimited space, stores full quality (jpg not raw), , has unlimited bandwidth. not speed demon either though. can view photo's anywhere browser , backed "off site".
