hi there, got mbp (15" late 2008 2.8ghz) apple store repair service, did replace other stuff, suspect replaced original battery, without listing on list of parts repaired.
repair requested not battery or power related.
don't have record of serial number of original battery is.
there way check original battery serial is? there record inside mac somewhere check?
have new battery bought recently.
serial numbers have are:
1- battery returned repair: 6n844049n13eb
design capacity: 4600 mah
current capacity: 4344 mah
cycles: 226
health: 94%
2- battery bought: 6n8430ca213e
design capacity: 4600 mah
current capacity: 4600 mah
cycles: 24
health: 100%
how can decipher these serials?
concerns battery gave me has dents , scratches, original 1 didn't have, , design capacity mah vs current one.
long battery supposed last per specs apple mbp model?
