have set mac os x server ngo working in , need enable vpn access our team.
problem of team working abroad need able provide them easy way access server , preferably without giving out shared secret.
of team running windows few running mac (or linux).
know cisco provides client vpn system can send out preconfigured program rest of team can install on computer access network.
wondering if alternative open source client provide similar mac l2tp protocol ?
if understand correctly, openvpn not trick, since works openvpn server, right ?
in sum, need free, cross-plateforms , extremely easy set end users.

both mac , windows clients can connect mac vpn server without difficulty, simplest solution may create step-by-step document walks people through setting , using vpn connection.
then, send them document , set of credentials , hope best.
in experience has reduced config work , number of support calls drastically.
