Thoughts on my new 13" MBP with Seagate 500GB 7200rpm HD

this first post, , first mac!

bought base model 13" mbp , installed seagate 500gb 7200rpm hard drive. far, computer has operated perfectly. wanted post because after skimming these boards feel negativity persists pretty ridiculous topics , issues new mbp, , while lid ever misaligned , i've yet see full 10 hour battery life, computer pretty damn nice.

can't comment on difference between stock 250gb 5400 hd, new hd nice , highly recommend looking upgrade. paid $120 plus $44 install , osx imaging @ local mac specialty shop, literally brought there directly mac store without opening box. yes, know overpaid hd convenience of install , support of local brick , mortar outweighs trivial savings of buying hd online. don't notice excessive heat, noise, nothing. flawless far.

issue standby... when close lid comp goes kind of standard mac standby state still consumes quite bit of battery (perhaps 25% when left overnight). normal? there way lessen energy consumption while in standby? it's bit different old pc last week or more in standby.

overall, nice computer!:d i'm disappointed steam not support many games yet, fixed sometime in future...:apple:
