i'm considering getting first mac (probably macbook pro), , try boot camp windows on it, or run windows in vm.
i'm wondering level of compatibility there windows on mac hardware? there functionality in windows on pc hardware can't done on mac hardware? 100% of windows programs run on mac, or more 90-99%? , true boot camp provide higher level of compatibility running windows in vm?
also, there difference between windows xp , 7? xp more compatible on mac windows 7? haven't decided version of windows run.
wonder if existence of forum , tens of thousands of posts indicates windows not compatible mac hardware?
its 100% under bootcamp. either xp or 7 work.
