i've got macbook , i'm trying hook tv haven't been able of yet! have bought dvi-hdmi cable i'm not familiar computer systems haven't been able understand lot of have read etc. on problem! macbook or tv not seem respond when cables plugged in. have tried detecting displays doesn't register. can please give me advice understandable isn't familiar computer jargon etc!
plug hdmi tv
try having mac off , plugging dvi mac
turn mac on, wit hthe tv on video: hdmi
mac should flash blue screen , show on tv
if doesnt work try messing around displays, if not maybe hdmi port broken on tv mine was.
