hey guys, wanted feedback on issue.
bought refurbished macbook pro 13" apple. when opened box, looked brand new, not scratch. turned on , got mac startup sound followed little later saying "english" through speakers, thats all, nothing on screen. held down power button , tried again many times, still nothing. have since called apple , have shipped them. waiting on replacement. have admit getting impatient. ive been wanting mac while. have not owned apple computer since apple iic, windows machines since 1995. have never had send company again ive never bought refurbished before. anyway...
wondering if others have had such issues refurbished apple products. know 1 person has macbook , got refurbished been running on 2 years. have heard many people refurbished pretty new , better new because apple tests these systems well. , people refurbished when opened box , decided didnt want computer or computer had scratch on it. anyway whats deal? way of thinking bs? or have been damaged during shipping or did apple not test people say.

about 8 years ago got imac refub not doa not totally refurb. @ time replaced sending out new one, charging me , crediting me when received 1 not refub. in return cost me nothing return. new refurb. 1 awesome , performed great many many years. mistakes happen, 1 got wan't refub (must have gone through on friday) took care of me.
