i used migration assistant bring user data/documents ibook g3/10.3.9/iphoto 2.0, ibook g4/10.4.11/iphoto 7.1
upon launching iphoto 7.1 migrated photos, app spent time updating , (i assume) reorganizing photos ...and crashed.
application crashes every time attempt load it. i've since deleted old photos (they backed on old computer), deleted every associated pref find, no avail. note, iphoto opens no problem other user account.
reinstall, but, of course, ilife cd inaccessible @ moment (deep, deep storage).

it iphoto library-specific issue. launch iphoto option key held down, when given option create new library, so. iphoto more going open @ point, of course no images in newly created library.
iphoto cannot upgrade 5-version old library, if want images old computer displayed in new version of iphoto going want export out rolls/pictures , email or use other means transport resulting jpegs newer ibook , import iphoto 7.1.
