hey all! longtime listener, first-time caller...
got ishockx dual shock feedback gamepad b'day present having trouble getting , running. downloaded driver macally website , got installed; there's ishockx manager in system folder, , if open recognizes gamepad being there, can test keys , see manager reflecting actions.
don't know how games recognize it, however. i've tried call of duty 4: modern warfare , halo. tried quake live site, in case. when select controls or settings , try , change keys moving, combat, etc., games let me go in if edit, nothing on gamepad registers... game's control panel isn't aware of gamepad.
macally website support pretty bare-bones, , mentions getting driver installed, seem have done, since it's in system prefs folder. other that, suggests consulting instructions individual games see how set up. couldn't find info in cod4 instructions, before email aspyr help, thought see if ideas here.
in advance assistance can offer!
oh yeah, running osx 10.6.3 , have played of these games many times, know games work system.
