my late 2008 mbp has been experiencing random times have press down hard (on glass) click. hardware related. makes "click" noise, doesn't click on os. if push harder, picks click, if let off pressure, releases, while still pressed before "clicks" normal.
i'm going keep using until it's no longer random because believe i'll have hard time convincing apple fix trackpad working @ repair center. don't care right because i'm on osx, tap-to-click works (unlike windows... kind of works)
else have issue?
yeah- had unibody macbook same issue, , 13" mbp having issue again. i'm waiting school out before take in apple talk it, since last time happened, kept macbook month.
