i going on vacation overseas, , not taking ipad me, security reasons.
i'm going turn ipad off when leave. don't want leave plugged power source, ups. live in area storms , lightening common. don't want ipad getting toasted power surge.
however, if battery run dry, there risk ipad, lose apps or information if happens?
