wired's new ipad app, launched just yesterday has jumped top of 2 of app store's prominent "top charts" in u.s.: paid apps , top grossing. wired notes sold 24,000 copies of application in first 24 hours of availability.

sorry, no. as love wired -- own every single issue they've ever published -- not paying $4.99 month memory-sucking digital version of mag when hardcopy version 83¢. , whole "new app every month" thing not wired -- it's tired.

subscribers or newsstand buyers shouldn't have pay more $1 per digital issue (in addition cost they're paying -- put download code in each hardcopy issue, yeah?), , there should 1 app downloads new content each month (preferably options download entire issue @ once or on demand pages read).
