so think of google tv, got announced @ google i/o? think on lot of levels..
first, it's open android based platform, ht enthusiast's paradise.. of possibilities various apps , add-ons. expect things netflix streaming on platform, , bunch of other things have been craving apple tvs.
second - give apple needed kick in pants , maybe upgrade apple tv above "a hobby".
interesting see how platform develop.

seems great product (if works claimed), love access television content in easier fashion current mess menus are.
gives apple kick in pants , (most importantly) opens platform developers.
dont think apple ever integrate tv sets or cable boxes these 2 products dont seem competing besides youtube viewing.
