hey guys,
purchased third party mini displayport hdmi adaptor off ebay , cannot show image on sony bravia kdl-46w4100. i've tried 4 hdmi ports, , each 1 allows mbp detect sony being there various resolutions/refresh rates. however, no display shows on tv. i've tried turning on mirroring, turning off, restarting mbp, turning off tv, firmware upgrade both, etc. tv still shows no input signal. mbp flick off , turn blue when first connects tv or if choose different resolution, again nothing on tv. bravia, it's not picking mbp "pc" in lists of inputs.
i've tried searching through net , have found similar issues other people have yet find definitive answer. suggestions may have.
have u tried leave hdmi plug tv , reboot ur mbp , see if picks up?
