Can anyone recommend a good shopping cart/e-commerce solution that you run?

hi guys,

been looking dozens of shopping-carts , e-commerce products webpage building seem have lot of complaints or hardly reviews.

looking @ corecommerce, digishop, magento, xcart, etc having hard time picking 1 out.

like:
1) hosted on hosting company (godaddy) , not through theirs
2) pay 1 time fee (license fee) instead of monthly fee (since cost me more in long run)
3) can have option wholesale accounts

there more features main ones.

suggestions?

should switch host's? , recommend?
