i looking @ owc external drives use time machine on new imac. better go bus powered drive or 1 has it's own power supply? idea of having 1 cable there keep clean of imac go ac adapter if need be. have 1 tb hdd , using fraction of right now. need go 1 tb ext hdd or can save money smaller? thanks.
it boils down want. don't see advantage of 1 on other.
space, depends on how backing up. i'd go how seems affordable.
