i running leopard iphoto '08. setup .mov format movies took digital camera imported iphoto along pictures. showed in thumbnail view along pictures , launch movies in quicktime double-clicking on movie thumbnail in iphoto.
after upgrading snow leopard (but still using iphoto '08) video thumbnails still show up, double-clicking on them nothing. double-clicking on image thumbnails still opens image normal. can still view movies right-clicking, selecting "show file," , double-clicking on movie thumbnail in finder.
i'd view movies iphoto functionality working again. ideas?

apparently iphoto 08 trying launch quicktime 7 instead of sl's quicktime x view videos. solution manually install qt7 sl dvd.
solution kind of stinks because i'd have features of qt x when work videos through iphoto. apparently there's no solution other upgrade ilife 09. seems should pretty simple tell iphoto load videos in qt x instead, apparently not.
if knows way force iphoto 08 use quicktime x i'd appreciate it. until i'll continue right-click, "show file," open in quicktime x manually.
