Need help with setting up Remote Connection

hi,

need / guidance in setting remote connection on osx (10.6) based machine.

here scenario:

have 2 users on desktop: user1 , user2

user1 logged in , don't want remote access it. want enable remote access only, user2. (it should work if user1 logged in , should not affect him)

tried default vnc option, opens user1 screen , affects work.

tried apple remote desktop not figure out way.

can tell me, if possible setup remote desktop per requirements?

thanks

p.s. trying connect osx windows machine.

os x unix. unix designed multiple users doing things simultaneously on 1 machine. apple not make priority, hence base screen sharing on vnc. when try "screen share" mac machine, whether it's windows, os x or linux, see whatever person sitting there sees. could, log in using ssh. ssh way run remote shell , things terminal , can ssh different user guy sitting @ keyboard.

on linux machine, no big deal. run "x server" on windows machine, start graphical process terminal, such openoffice.org , process running on linux box graphics sent on network machine running "x server". apple not support @ time. if want log in , run photoshop cs remotely, graphics go screen of guy sitting there.

want able mac? if it's stuff can done command line, you're set. if it's graphical stuff, might better off finding old windows box , installing linux on it. run apps remotely , have graphics displayed on windows box.

hope helps...
