hi all,
dropped iphone , bottom half of screen not working (top half still works). restarted etc still doesn't work.
looked @ restoring phone, it's on 1.1.2 (yes it's old monster) , it's been unlocked. don't know how restore without upgrading 3.1 , relocking phone.
worth restoring phone? or there else can do? or dead , time new one?
since must have 2g, can jailbreak , unlock whatever version want. use redsn0w.
however, doubt restore fix this. have tried rebooting (holding home , power buttons until phone turns off on)? digitizer bad or connection it.
