is silverlight a memory hog?

i use silverlight watch instant netflix didn't know such memory hog. should have noticed when watch instant netflix on 1 window , browsing regularly on other movie hiccup each time click on link in website or each time visit new web page. doesn't slow down computer or make unusaeable. but, concerned of page outs since don't want harddrive work overtime. have live with?

 

in firefox haven't ever seen high. in fact i've never seen every use much. using latest version, think it's 4.0 now.
