i couldn't resist. got core solo 1.5 ghz mac mini 512mb ram , 60gb hd (and dvd reader/cd writer combo drive) $180 on craigslist. in perfect working condition, , seller threw in monitor!
have spare 250gb hd laying around, figure upgrade that. plus, have 2gb stick of ram wondering if have use 2 1gb sticks mac mini or if can use single 2gb stick.
know maximum 2gb fine cause intend let wife use computer surf net , play garageband bit, know isn't intensive (unlike video editing).
upgrade advice appreciated!
sounds you're going pretty can aside ssd not worth general computing.
however, os going use? cannot imagine ilife 08 or above (garage band) running super on this. happen have ilife 06 btw ... if you're looking.
