ok, got question. pretty sure 2007 macbook has mini dvi monitor connection (i wrong?). curious if same port on macbook pro (i noticed when ordering peripherals mini dvi not sure if has changed).
i'm curious cause want know if need order new mini dvi dvi adaptor (plus 1 convert mini dvi vga? or whatever connect tv using port has 3 jacks - 1 video , 2 stereo. sorry, don't know term connection). or if can use ones have now.
if talking macbook pro after late 2008 release, isn't mini-dvi mini-displayport. don't think have seen mini-displayport cable rca. think have go mini-display vga , vga rca adaptor.
edit: after thinking possible issues conversion of digital signal (mini-displayport) analog rca, thought further , found identifies straight cable conversion solution won't work. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadid=1752866&start=45&tstart=15 .
