got ipad on tuursday (uk) , think it's amazing. 3g model no problems wi-fi signal. issue though if turn wifi off , turn on or shut ipad down , restart not automatically join known home network. have go setting menu , select network, no password prompts, joins straight away.
iphone shows no such issues , long wi-fi signal there connects without interaction. else noticed or know i'm doing wrong?

poked around on net , after quite bit of searching found sollution , it's odd.
seems if me run ipad brightness way down forget "join known networks" setting , you'll have select network each time leave ipad while , go it.
if turn brightness smallest of amounts work expected?
try it........ weird.
