Ibook shutdown!

i obtained ibook g4, cousins, , had crashed, weeks later gave , bought imac (its sweet ).

anyway, ibook turn on, boot normal. had turned on 10-15 minutes, , powers off. had plugged in, , obtained 11% battery, don't think dies battery shortage. did notice, battery charger cord, wall brcik 250v wire, while brick self needs 100volts. isn't cord came ibook. cause ibook shut down? there anyway fix problem. experiencing has nothing charge?
