guys tried search not find anything. have late 2008 mbp c2d 2.53 ghz , use final cut studio.
cannot seem find benchmarks on upgrading new i5 or i7 far performance increases hd video editing. love have shorter workflow.
right have party interested current mbp , have around $1k put towards new model i'm not sure worth it.
thoughts or experiences on this?
if there's justifies i5 or i7 on c2d, video encoding.
i've heard more experienced final cut studio users software old , if remember correctly, not multi-threaded. nevertheless, single threaded performance of i5/i7 quicker still, on c2d. i'd it's worth it.
there yet new processor architecture intel make way notebooks (probably mbp too) in first quarter of next year, if can wait.
