when installing ram last year in mom's imac careless , there usb cord underneath , screen has gotten scratched up.
scratches rather deep.
should screen repair? can apple replace glass screen?
use mom's imac have ipad, , looking @ selling macbook pro 13" because unnecessary (student)
well, hope learned lesson, , not treat $2000 machine carelessly.
apple replace glass cover imacs, if still have applecare coverage. however, don't think replace 1 because had 'accident.'
wouldn't hurt try though.
on bright side, i'm assuming mom has last gen imac models? if i'm right, you're in luck, because might able find new glass screen buy , replace 1 have now.
i'd check out ifixit. might have it. if not, there plenty of other places can look.
