purchased macbook secondhand long time ago, not knowing still had applecare. laptop won't turn on , chance entered serial number apple website , found out still entirely covered. thing is, don't have information of guy bought from, don't remember name. i'm sure applecare under name, wasn't able find information try contact him change ownership me. have take in laptop repair sure ask me information him , since don't anything, completley looks stole computer. ideas of do? read warranty attatched laptop , not owner, why request switch ownership?

applecare covers machine, not owner. no change of ownership necessary.
if take in repair they're going check serial verify coverage. if ask original registrant, tell them bought used. should no problem.
