so, i'm in market ipad 64gb 3g. planning on ordering online through apple's website, starting skittish whether or not receive in time vacation (second week of june). so, decided start checking online best buy locator.
didn't have luck until today. nearest best buy apple-store inside hour away, , had model in stock (according website). promptly called , greeted lady hated life. asked, "do have ipa-" , given stern 'no.' said, "oh, well, saw on website tha--" , interrupted "we haven't received yet. thank you" , hung on me! awesome! decided not purchase ipad best buy.
so, called nearest apple store (green hills, nashville). 2 hours away, , had not wanted buy 1 there...tennessee sales tax higher mine in ky (about 3% difference). however, gave them call. employee nice, , allowed me put name on reservation list on phone. said receive email, , have until closing time following business day pick ipad. i'm pumped! said there 'a ton' of people on waiting list, 'tomorrow, or next week' getting shipments in every day. seems typical response judging i've read on forum on past week or so.
said, if in nashville , need 64gb wifi version, in stock @ green hills.

update: oh, irony!
bahaha, so, checked best buy inventory again after class let out. noticed best buy store mentioned above no longer has stock. surprise! however, store did! so, called 1 , greeted friendly fella'. asked if hold 1 me (again, hour , half away...). put me on hold , said, "well, i'm not supposed to- don't care... what's information? i'll hold until end of day."
looks i'm headed -best buy- purchase ipad...at least karma hasn't raised it's ugly head....yet....
i purposely went apple store ipad because experience better.
on sidenote: technoids (it isn't op i've noticed with) seem live in wilderness? what's bb , apple stores being hours away? have running water?
