girlfriend's macbook gave restart computer, kernal panic message earlier today when tried open .tiff file in photoshop cs3. did told, computer won't past apple logo when hit power button. every time message comes up. have had around net , tried advice find, haven't had luck.
have tried resetting pram , other one. have taken out each memory 1 @ time see if makes difference, each time message still appears. has 2007 macbook pro running snow leopard, upgraded around month ago tiger. it's got 2gb of ram , think 2.2ghz intel core duo processor.
appreciate on else it? can't find apple hardware test cd either.

can boot single-user mode or safe mode?
