i'm on mbp 15" (spring '07) , have changed fans once. talking performance on blogs , forums haven't found written how loud new mbps are.
buy new laptop long term commitment. i'm pretty annoyed current mbp since loud. fans spinning spinning on max rpm whole work day (running web browser + photoshop or text editor on external 23").
i5 better choice in long term since slower , not hot i7 (i'm guessing here.. no facts). care more noise performance.
think? btw. i'm going ssd 128 option.
