on advice of apple store purchased snow leopard 10.6 upgrade update macbook pro running 10.4. have loaded disc , hit install button, restarted computer , stuck @ apple insignia - been half hour ....is supposed happen or next window asking install supposed come right away? thank advice!
going have repair disk, can use dvd bought , run disk first aid there ... disk utility/first aid , repair it.
likely, won't find anything, , going need run safe boot (hold shift key on reboot) , turn off login items, , run font boot , sweep bad fonts.
there support page @ http://www.apple.com/support/snowleopard/ rest of stuff can hang snow leopard install.
