is true can't plug thing optical-drive less laptop, toshiba or ibm netbook?
sorry, can't use other apple products besides mac mini (server believe) , 24" cinema display because requires special high powered usb port. doubt netbooks or laptops other manufacturers have this, , if did, not sure firmware available make work.
