CinemaTube Impressions

i have had tv since shortly after first introduced. far goes, requires media in itunes format , streaming prone stuttering , freezing. after living quite time wanted give else try see else available. in past have tried wdtv (the original) , seagate theater+, , returned both; wdtv not play dvd menus , theater+ played of video_ts folders.

ordered cinematube , got last night. have not had long experiment these initial impressions. browsing , playing media attached usb drive seems work although slow; of dvds stored video_ts , play ok few don't (most notably james bond dvds). menu selection highlight misaligned, , music plays out of sync channels off fraction of second (i have noticed on troublesome james bond discs). overall have been pleased can play usb drive. bought largely able play tv show collections have ripped, , seems on those. problems (2):

1) have mac , cannot seem network browser find @ all. of instructions in manual windows, surely mac can made work. usb drive have directly attached formatted hfs+. know network @ least partially working because have done 2 software updates since plugging in last night (it prompted both).

2) movie playback freeze. play/pause going again, chapter seek work, stopping , restarting video work. have noticed far on 1 movie (charade).

experiences of others? here use mac? in advance help.
