i got 2 ssd's , i'm trying decide machines best use them in...
first ssd intel 80 gb x25 , thinking using in whitebook osx doesn't support trim , concerned longevity of drive (i use in win7 amd quad-core desk top).
other ssd wd blue 64 gb drive bought eeepc running winxp due wd onboard garbage collection unit supposed have = better using unit in whitebook?
have macbooks or mbp's running intel ssd, how's working out you?
notice slowdown , how compensate it?
other advise helpful also, please let me know?
*** yes i'll running usb portable hdd externally still use optical drive frequently.

i'm not quite sure i'd comfortable using ssd os doesn't officially support trim right now. unless knew fact firmware had wear levelling, knows how reduce life of drive.
