...and pickup 15" i7 high-resolution anti-glare. first thing did tonight swap out 5400 rpm drive seagate 7200.
i've lived 15" standard resolution mbp years , have never been able treat more toy compared windows desktop running on 30" 2560x1600 display.
decided new mbp's, go ahead , grab 17"--after all, on paper, looks similar in size 15". in store, difference appears minimal. have in real life, difference huge. took under week 17" realize 1 pound in weight huge difference. i'm not small guy--6 foot, 200 lbs--but 17" lug around.
biggest hangup 15" has been abysmal resolution--1440 doesn't cut when alot of photoshop , fcp. wife loved email , web surfing, never practical tool me. seems they've hit sweet spot high resolution displays (1680x1050).
sit typing on new 15" mbp , couldn't happier!
(as aside, yes had pay 10% restocking fee. people can rival retard level of apple "geniuses" best buy geek squads)
i'm glad happy. although i'm confused, 17" pound heavier? or is size?
