Using Office for Windows vs. Office for Mac


i going running parallels lot due need onenote. wondering if there , advantage/disadvantage running of office programs (word, excel, powerpoint) via windows xp opposed using office 2008 mac os....any thoughts?

running 2 oss @ same time heavier one, it'll cause shorter battery life. reason why need windows? alternatives onenote?
