Blueray DVD to iPad rip?

bought avatar today on blue ray came non blue ray dvd aswell, presume need use handbrake on mac rip ipad. can suggest whether worth ripping blue ray opposed standard dvd?

 

i ripped dvd using universal setting in handbrake (it's 3.4gb) , looks amazing on ipad tv not bad alternative @ switching bluray. quality excellent.

don't forget force foreign subtitle search, unless speak na'vi
