i looking purchase ipod touch in next few weeks. have limited amount of money means can either:
1. buy refurbished 2nd generation 32gb touch.
leaning towards. want know information model though. jailbreak it, if update newest firmware(i.e. 3.1.2 or 3.1.3) still able perform jailbreak?
or
2. buy new 32gb ipod touch @ store , sacrifice being able jailbreak it.
have spend more money way worth it? guys think there jailbreak version of ipod anytime soon?

after looking @ thread, seems can upgrade 3.1.2 firmware on 2nd gen ipod touch. once this, able jailbreak it?
if can wait few days, best bet hold off , see new "spirit" jailbreak do. rumor has it'll give untethered jb on 3g touch on 3.1.3.
