i've got windows 7 x64 ultimate installed on crucial c300 ssd in optibay drive , have backed image using winclone prior updating ssd firmware. when checking winclone forums noted users have reported unable restore boot camp images ssd via winclone. have bricked drives , have had have them replaced.
has had success latest version or should avoid restoring winclone image , perform clean installation scratch?

4) use shadowprotect restore system drive image using default parameters don't touch mbr, hidden tracks or disk signatures unless have special requirements--in case should research these on storagecraft site. shadowprotect precisely reproduce bootcamp drive, partition boot information tailored new os windows. when did conversion system disk on hard drive 1 on ssd, took 15 minutes create backup image on drive , less 10 minutes load on ssd. rebooted unchanged w7 running @ incredible speeds on ssd.
