according nvidia website, 330m has "maximum digital resolution" of 2560x1600. , according apple website supported resolution on 15 incher 1440x900... unless shell out benjamin upgraded resolution.

no, stated on apple's site, can have resolution of 2560 x 1600 on external screen, , there no apple laptops internal resolution, seems independent.
so, can have mbp 1440 x 900 resolution and external monitor resolution of 2560 x 1600, including 1680 x 1050.
