hi,
in upcoming weeks i'm going visit countries in western-europe , iphone come in handy. since there's t-mobile simlock on it, can't put in sim card other carrier. so, well, i'm going roam data.
i'm going use google maps app in combination gps , maybe internet page. of course want avoid high costs turned down automaticly checking new mails. might turn data roaming off, until need , turn on (until i'm done, , turn off again).
further if i'm going browse internet, i'm going use opera app. it's not smooth safari app, again save me (a lot) of data.
other ways way prevent high data usage. far i'm going do:
- opera app browsing (not smooth safari, lower data usage)
- turn off automatic checking mail
- turn data roaming on when need it
