so i'm using migration assistant copy applications old system, it's coming 77gb though 'get info' in applications folder smaller. 'else' bringing on big?
have final cut studio (uninstalled) on old computer, intending reinstall 1 manually. thing can think of it's picking 'extra' content in library folder, chose not migrate those...
tips?
for many applications function additional items in local (and user) library required. application support, frameworks, fonts, etc. in addition, package receipts
if os thinks necessary part of application, include in migration.
in addition, items not have permissions access not included in info calculations.
find out take work on part. obvious places /library.
