there number of steps accomplish this. important thing must either use spark.app http://www.shadowlab.org/software/spark or quicksilver enable shortcut keystroke. use spark.app because less techy , accomplishes shortcut easily.
first thing need click safari menu, services, services preferences. now, in window on right scroll down till see "pictures" , below "print selection" , check box. appear in safari services menu.
here tricky part: open spark, go top left dropdown , choose menu item, , says "application" in dropdown choose "safari.app", in dropdown below keep cursor on safari, scroll down list on right till reach "services" , scroll "print selection" .
scroll , type in name print selection, , in box above type in keyboard shortcut use. mine shift+option+p, can use won't conflict of system shortcuts. click "create" button , done.
know sounds complicated , geeky goes fast, , best of all, have one-stroke key combo bring print menu selection there.
can same apps, files, docments, etc., have in appropriate item in spark.

second, don't need spark or quicksilver set keyboard shortcut service. can add keyboard shortcut in same place enable service.
double click on far right of text , type shortcut.
