i running mac mini g4 tiger 10.4
looking @ login items under admin account listed 'itunes helper'.
there non essential bootup items can safely remove? list shows:
apache
appleshare
appservices
authserver
crashreporter
disks
fibrechannel
ifcstart
ipsservices
metadata
snmpserver
maybe need new mac. performance slow. newer os gather newer thing can run on mac tiger 10.4.11 because not intel based.
those items won't cause difference performance if remove them. wouldn't delete of them.
i'd recommend searching forums tips on speeding mac, lead threads one. of tips won't apply 10.4, others will.
