hi,
bought new unibody macbook in january, today, noticed problem when turned on.
turned on , date/ time preferences (which on apple automatic) said dec 31, 2000 @ around 6:00 pm. not able log onto internet @ all, though there networks can , have connected in past. restarted computer, , dates reverted normal , able connect internet (i stayed in same location).
problem pram? i'm afraid if ignore problem, it'll happen again, more severe consequences.

your pram battery failing, isn't dead yet. not know if pram battery considered user-serviceable in mac, know it's straightforward replace it.
