a minor annoyance, i'd know if there fix.
due nature of work, default running macbook pro in windows xp mode long stretches of time. whenever try restart computer, black screen, hear mac start sound, nothing fan noise. powering off on works fine. not seem when running os x.
believe running latest boot rom version, tried few smc resets, reinstalled both os's scratch (upgrading 10.6.3), same problem.
appreciated. did search around answers , found nothing helpful.
