i have (jailbroken) iphone 3gs , believe battery getting worse , worse. i'm pretty careful keep thinks push notifications, bluetooth, ssh, etc off when don't need them , run apps in background.
wrong, understand apple cover battery under standard 1-year warranty , definition of defective battery when lasts less 50% compared specified battery life (is correct?).
before go stock firmware , possibly try warranty replacement, thought i'd ask if knows how folks @ apple test battery when bring in, , if there's way me test before going through effort of bringing in warranty service? don't want give them days have them tell me it's dropped 25% , therefor not ready warranty replacement.
