apple today announced has reached 1 million ipads sold in 28 days since launch of wi-fi models in april. ipad users have downloaded on 12 million apps , on 1.5 million ebooks during time.apple offered no indication in press release of sales of wi-fi + 3g ipad models, went on sale in u.s. last friday.
apple previously announced had sold 300,000 ipads on first day of sales of wi-fi-only models. less week after launch, jobs noted @ company's iphone os 4 media event had passed 450,000 in ipad sales.
tracking site chikita estimated last week apple had sold 1 millionth ipad before 3g-capable models went on sale.
